Verdict
A smart, surprisingly heartfelt live-action/animation hybrid that turns a classic cartoon gag into a crowd-pleasing underdog legal comedy. The appeal is less in spectacle than in the earnest, absurdist premise, the corporate-satire edge, and the emotional commitment to Wile E. Coyote as a tragicomic hero.

Overview
Coyote vs. Acme takes one of animation’s most enduring punchlines and gives it an unexpectedly sincere center. What could have been a thin gimmick becomes a funny, nimble underdog story about persistence, exploitation, and the absurdity of a world built to keep one character forever losing. The legal-comedy setup gives the movie a fresh shape while still letting the cartoon chaos land hard.
Worth noting
The film’s biggest strength is how well it balances broad family entertainment with a sharper corporate-satire streak. It plays like a studio-era comedy with modern self-awareness, and the emotional angle gives Wile E. Coyote more depth than the premise suggests. That mix of silliness and pathos is what makes it stand out.
Bottom line
It should work especially well for viewers who like their family movies a little smarter and a little stranger than average. Even if the premise sounds like a novelty, the execution feels like a genuine crowd-pleaser with enough heart to justify the joke.

Basically what if Sisyphus kinda enjoyed pushing that boulder but also that boulder considered Sisyphus a friend. Legitimately incredible, effortlessly hilarious. I laughed a lot, I almost cried??? Every exec at WB who wanted to erase this movie from history should be launched into space. (Preferably on an ACME branded rocket)

The best Albuquerque-based legal drama I've seen since...I don't know actually, I can't think of any other examples

I will leave it to you, dear reader, to decide why a studio in the midst of a massive merger with another studio would choose not to release a highly entertaining legal thriller about a cartoonishly evil mega-corporation engaged in conspiracies to maintain monopolistic control over the economy through their shady connections with a willfully inefectual government. All I know is that Coyote vs. Acme is truly a movie of its moment. Full review at ScreenCrush.
